Have you ever told yourself you just don’t have enough hours in a day to get anything accomplished? Do you sit down each night and diligently plan out the next day only to find that you can’t possibly fit everything in? Stop, take a deep breath, then look at the bigger picture!
Instead of planning your day, try planning your week. Every weekend sit down and figure out what needs to get accomplished during the upcoming week.
Do you have errands scattered here and there? See if they can be grouped together on a specific day so you can be more productive on the others.
Make the most of your time by laying all out. If you see one day is too hectic try moving items to another day to balance out your week!
Don’t forget to jot down cleaning and organizing tasks that need to get done. You are more likely to do them if you can check them off your list.

When I had my first son I was an avid scrapbooker and loved putting together a page with all of its intricate details. Now that I am a mom of three and a small business owner I am lucky to get a picture printed out never mind the intricate scrapbook. Over the years I have learned a great way to keep track of those special memories.
Every month I upload my photos to a photo storage and sharing site like Shutterfly or Snapfish. Not only are your photos safe, secure and sharable, but while you are in the system you can also create a digital scrapbook with your photos. When you are done uploading your photos for the month simply create a few photo pages and at the end of the year you will have a memory book ready to print!
What is your favorite way to keep memories?

Mental clutter causes just as much stress as physical clutter, if not more. We tend to walk around with a mental dialogue going on about all the things we need to do, what we forgot to do, or what we would rather be doing! You can get pretty exhausted just thinking about your to do’s before doing a thing!
I suggest dumping those thoughts right away! Keep a notebook within reach at all times. If you find yourself with all of that clutter swirling around in your mind, stop what you are doing and write it down. Allow yourself a break from the to do’s and worry about the task at hand. Every evening do a brain dump before bed to help you get a restful night!
Do you find yourself lost in thought on your mental to do list?

This week Mabel’s Labels launched their Ultimate Back-to-School Combo so I thought I would share how the company has transformed our school experience.
First of all, I have to mention those lovely backpacks sold online and in catalogs that promote getting your child’s name embroidered across the back. They are adorably cute, but I don’t recommend letting every stranger out there know your child’s name. Instead use a Bag Tag to help identify your child’s back pack in case it gets lost!
Labeling school supplies can be a real pain especially if you have to label each individual crayon and marker like we have to do. No worries, this year we are using the Tag Mates (Skinny-Minis also work) to cut down on time getting supplies ready.
Last but not least, I will never have to worry about losing the extra clothes we keep at school in case of accidents. Having Tag Mates on them has been very helpful in keeping up with the clothing!
What about you, how have your Mabel’s Labels helped out at school?

Whether you are a working mom, a stay at home mom or a mixture of the two, we all have one thing in common! We spend most of our waking hours trying to take care of other people and we leave very little time for ourselves!
From the time the alarm goes off in the morning until your head hits the pillow at night can you count how many minutes you have had to yourself? To be the best wife, mother, boss or employee you can, make sure you take time for you!
Giving yourself at least 30 minutes each day can be such a stress reliever and help you stay focused on what is important! Try soaking in a bath, going for a walk, reading your favorite book or just going for a drive on a scenic route!
How much “me time” do you give yourself and what is your favorite way to spend that time?
