The 5th Annual, United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton CityQuest Challenge was on Saturday, September 24, 2011. CityQuest is presented by the Hamilton International Airport and is a fundraising event to generate funds for at-risk-youth programming in the Burlington and Hamilton communities. The challenge is a city-wide scavenger hunt with teams of four scouring the community to find hidden gems, face fun challenges and try to accumulate as many points as possible to walk away the champions.
Mabel staffers Catherine, Melissa, Diane & Kim worked together as a team and had a blast participating in the challenge! They also did an amazing job of hosting bake sales & rallying friends & family to reach their fundraising goal for the United Way.
Team Mabel had to gather such items as a spare tire, a hard hat, fuzzy dice, eye glasses, movie poster and more! They also had to try to visit as many checkpoints as we could throughout the city. At each stop, they had to answer questions about the location. This Challenge enabled the team to see different parts of our beautiful city, Hamilton.
We are lucky to have Melissa, Diane, Catherine & Kim as part of Team Mabel! Way to go!
