Whether you are a working mom, a stay at home mom or a mixture of the two, we all have one thing in common! We spend most of our waking hours trying to take care of other people and we leave very little time for ourselves!
From the time the alarm goes off in the morning until your head hits the pillow at night can you count how many minutes you have had to yourself? To be the best wife, mother, boss or employee you can, make sure you take time for you!
Giving yourself at least 30 minutes each day can be such a stress reliever and help you stay focused on what is important! Try soaking in a bath, going for a walk, reading your favorite book or just going for a drive on a scenic route!
How much “me time” do you give yourself and what is your favorite way to spend that time?

You know what? I have zero me time, but am now determined to get at least thirty minutes a day. There is stuff I loved to do before I had kids waiting for me!
I consider the gym “Me Time” because I listen to my favourite music and do something that’s good for myself. I’m not saying I LOVE going to the gym, though…
I’d say playing around on Twitter is my fave!
every morning i pack up the kids (they’re usually still in jammies) and head out for mama to get a cup of tea from the Tim Hortons drive thru (and a timbit for the 2 year old of course!) it may seem like a bit of an ordeal, but it gives me about 15 minutes to get my bearings in the morning while the kids are strapped in listening to a CD in the car and I can chill for a bit while the caffeine takes effect. after that i am good to go for the day!
Cherise, yes you must make time for you! I used to scrapbook when my first son was born and loved it but after the second came along I was lucky to get any pictures printed off at all. Now with the third child and a business I am just happy to get my photos organized digitally and backed up!..
I hear you Samantha! Walking the dog gets me out of the house for a little peace and quiet. I don’t necessarily love it! But I am getting some fresh air, exercise and me time!
I have 4 kids and still manage to get in some “me” time a few times a week. You really do have to plan and organize well though, LOL.
