Simple Organizing for A Simple Soccer Mom

This organizer has officially become a soccer mom! And this organizing mama is getting things together right away! Here is how I am tackling all of this new soccer STUFF.
- A good sturdy bag…check.
- A label for son’s ball…check.
- Store stuff in bag when not in use…check.
- When done washing uniform, keep it together with other stuff in bag…check.

Three weeks into soccer, I have realized what really works for me is to just keep all of the soccer gear together in one bag. Period. When it’s time to go, we pull out the bag so he can get ready. Ball is there so just grab water bottles and go.

Oh, and in case you are wondering… our Mabel’s Labels Sticky Label has held up really well against all of the mud and kicking!

We just have ballet and swimming right now (2 girls 18m and 4yrs) and I too have found the gym bag for each activity to be the way to go.

Ballet – stays in the ballet bag each week (after washing of course)

Swim – suits, shampoo, towels, crocs get returned to the bag straight from the wash each Saturday (I just keep the bag next to the machine).

It’s so simple my husband can almost handle it on his own with minimal instruction ;) and as a bagaholic it gives all those bags I have laying around purpose.

I envy your organization. Can’t wait to get my labels in the mail and start some major organizing!

Love your blog and this post is great. I wonder if you can expand on the bag idea for football equipment. We have tried mesh, too flimsy, plastic bins(ugly in their room). I have 3 boys playing, 6th, 5th(both tackle-2 sets of pants and pads, helmet, cleats, shoulder pads, mouth gards, water bottles. Then a 2nd grade flag football player with a lit less equipment, but his comes on next year! Help!!!! I am drowning in sweaty jock straps:(. That is, when they can find them.
