The permission slips would never make it up there and back. I have to do everything right there next to the backpacks and other information. I try to cut down on as many steps as possible. We're at two different schools now and luckily it will stay that way based on my kid's ages. Heidi, It is so helpful to start off on the right track as soon as they start school. If you start the routine in the beginning it will become second nature to all of you and so much easier to maintain! I'm sure you will do great! Lorie, I can only imagine! I use a similar method, but put the clipboards by my desk so that all the information I need is right by my computer. I can enter important dates, respond to rsvp's and sign permission slips right from my desk. Great post!
