Sometimes it’s so hard to tell what’s a serious injury/illness and what’s a minor one – my 2 year old was walking around with a limp wrist today saying her arm hurt and she wouldn’t use that arm. After the undiagnosed pneumonia in May I’m a little paranoid with her – but of course an hour later she was yelling “my arm’s all better Mom!”
And the problem with our Daddy is getting him to his doctor’s appts in the first place….I think we need some labels that tell him the day and time of his appt.

Very true….at that time Mack pain tolerance was high. He has now been trained to respond to pain in a more typical way. But, knowing that he had a high pain threshold, I should really have been watching for that limp and not let it go so long.
Daddy-o – well he’s fine but they still don’t know what the deal is with all the lumps. OK, i’m poisoning him….

Autism equals different pain tollerance. Don’t want folks to think it was negligence. The little guy didn’t feel the break typically so prolonged limp got him to the doc. Everything OK with daddy-o?
